For sale is an antique Tourney of Belgium pierced Plaque featuring a gold landscape scene. The finely painted scene is surrounded with a repeating scale like border which breaks to the pierced rim which is in the form of flower and waves - please see pictures provided.Marked with the Peternick gold mark shown which dates it between 1750 and 1790. There is a hanging hole which is curious as it is at 3 O'Clock as you look at the plaque in the 1st picture. No chips, cracks or restoration. Minimal wear to decoration as pictured. Various firing blemishes which appears as writing to fine crazing lines - the black lines shown.centre of the bowl. Measures 14cm square and 2.5cm tall.
