Vintage Hemigray No 42 Insulator

This is a vintage glass insulator manufactured by the Hemigray Co.  Insulator is Aqua in color. These are usually found on utility or telephone poles. Insulator has some scratches. Top ring has a small imperfection under surface but it does not feel like a crack or chip. Insulator measures approximately 4 ¼ inches high x 3 ¾ inches in diameter at its widest point. Imprinted in glass is Hemigray No. 42; Made in U.S.A. Item weighs almost 2 pounds.
