High performance Reduction Gear Imi101N High Torque Starter motors VW Volkswagen

Standard finish Hi-torque high output starter for VW Volkswagen Type 1, 002 Irs Type 2 Bus and Mendeola transmissions. The Imi101N starter has 1.9 hp vs. the 1.3 hp from the standard Imi 101.This is the most common high performance starter sold in the VW industry. It is lighter, stronger and requires no starter bushing (it is self supporting like the SR17x starter). This is the light weight (9 lbs) reduction gear High torque starter with cranking power to spare. Even when its blistering hot or freezing cold, it will get your ride started. The unique self supported design uses a Nippondenso powered starter with 525 lbs of torque to start most high powered or high compression engines. It has a compact design using a vented solenoid for better heat resistance. It is made with a 5 full roller bearing construction and it draws less current than standard starters. The front plate has several different mounting positions for better clearance and these features make this the most popular starters in the off-road and racing. This unit is designed for a Volkswagen application using a type I transmission.  This unit is similar to the IMI-104 but has a shorter pinion depth.  This unit is also similar to the IMI-105 but has a smaller diameter pinion gear for the 130 tooth flywheel.

No COD, FPO, APO or PO Boxes. Most heavy shipments are shipped through Ups ground. Small light items are shipped usps. Sorry, NO US POSTAL service on heavy or large domestic orders. All items are completely insured. International customers must prearrange shipping methods and costs with me prior to bidding. International shipments can get expensive, especially heavy items. Heavy and large items can be shipped internationally through Ebay global shipping and international freight forwarders with confirmed paypal addresses.
