4170 J. W. Padrick jewelry store diamond watch repair trade card baby rattle toy

Excellent condition, blank reverse w/ some light corner glue marks, but not serious.

J. W. Padrick worked in a store named Humphreys before starting his own business at 46 West Fourteenth St. I am guessing the city was New York, but cannot verify this.

Aside from selling jewelry, Parisian diamonds, and gold settings, he repaired watches and jewelry.

The trade card image includes an unusual item - a baby rattle, shown in the baby’s hand.

NOTE: The scan images tend to be harsher than what is actually there. Paper discoloration and stains show as darker than in real life. White paper in some cases tends to show yellowed. Paper wrinkles tend to be exaggerated. If you have clarification questions, do not hesitate emailing me.

This item is original to period - No reproductions are sold in my store.
