This is a large wonderful piece of art which seen to be hand carved in solid wood in a
large oval human face painted on white, red and black detailed and unique hand
primitive carving designs.
It is wonderful and colorful piece of art Presume to be used in ceremonial occasion
probably by the tribes in New Guineas sepike Riber by Kararau tribe ? or Tumbai tribe?
mask which typical of carving wooden mask with open hole for mouth and eyes
I also has typically design of Yuat region of New Guineas and is associated with
a tree spirit of a particular clan.
Tumbai mask were traditional held by male dancer during ceremonies .
The idea is to combine all body of the a man with spiritual form or ting into one symbolic mask.
It's a large and great Piece of art, made in very rich and brilliant details,
great hanging focus point for man cave , or too use. Excellent home décor or office,
great gift or extra fine addition to your collection.......

This beautiful piece of art seem to be around the 60's but not sure about
exactly age it looks in very good patina , conditions but has small scratches
on painting and as you see the artist made this beauty in old tree
imperfection on wood like it show in the bottom of this beauty other wise it still looking fantastic...

I pack mine items well to prevent damage, and ship is based on actual weight and side or distance of the item. Please use eBay
shipping calculator to determine shipping cost. I do not charge any large pack and “handing” fees and Multiples
item can be combined upon request as long as I don’t feel they could cause damage to each other.
