Beautiful Nardis of Dallas vintage tailored blouse. Nardis of Dallas was a high end clothier that has a very interesting past (look them up on the internet). They manufactured clothes from the 50s into the 70s and supplied clothes for a few television shows such as The Dick Van Dyke Show. There is limited tag information on this shirt. It fits my size 6 mannequin well, I would say a modern size small but please refer to the measurements below. No fabric content noted but I believe this to be The Herringbone Worsted Jersey that is referred to in the photo of the vintage ad that is posted above. I would say this is late 50s style, also based on the ad. I am no expert so I could be mistaken. Fabric is a beautiful mottled green color. Buttons up the front with 7 beige plastic buttons, matching buttons on each cuff. Front of shirt is has pin tucked seaming and bust dart. Pointed collar and sewn in tie. Also comes with a matching tie belt. Tag reads, "Custom Tailored by Nardis of Dallas". No noted flaws or fading, holes snags odors etc. Very well kept and must have been special to the previous owner. Would be great for the office with a pencil skirt or would make a great pattern. Please review all photos for details. Measured flat as follows; Chest = 20" across front arm pit to arm pit , Length = 25" back collar seam to hem, Sleeve = 24.5" shoulder seam to cuff end, Shoulders = 15.5" across back shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
