John Rutty was an Irish Quaker and physician who wrote extensively on a variety of subjects. This is one of his texts on religious beliefs on how to be a worthy Quaker. The text is complete with a one page catalogue of Isaac Jackson. Both boards are off; there is a bookplate inside the back board. The paper is browned and the title page is torn at the bottom although both pieces are present.
