These 3D printed bass drum plates were made to work with vintage Tama Swingstar, Imperialstar and Superstar Bass Drums. They were modeled after the hole sizes from a mount on a 22" 1980's Swingstar Bass Drum. The plate should work with any Tama drum that uses the same mount or hole spacings. This sale comes with both a top and bottom plate. The top plate is 2.4mm thick, and the bottom plate is about 1.5mm thick. This keeps it low profile and out of the way.

No screws are included! These are intended to be used with the screws from your original mount. The Type A style of this bass drum plate has square holes for the original screws that have square bases at the base of the threads. I also have a Type B version available that have circular holes on top if you don't have the original screws and want something more universal. I've included a picture of the mount that this plate was designed to replace. It is the last picture shown above. The final detail I want to add is that I've included an arrow on the bottom plate. This arrow should run parallel to the bearing edge. The curvature of the bass drum creates a 1mm difference in measurement that I've accounted for, but requires the arrow follow along the curve of the drum.

These plates are 3D printed with an FDM printer using high quality, black gloss, PETG filament. Please keep in mind that the texture of the part is that of 3D printed filament and not injection molded plastic. They can be sanded, filled and painted if desired, but I find they work just fine as they are! I included pictures of them set up on the bass drum they were modeled from. Also keep in mind that one side will be rougher than the other. This is typically the side that is in contact with the print bed. This side goes down on the drum.

Please see all the pictures listed and ask any questions you have before purchase! I’ll be happy to help any way I can! Please note that the plates shown were was selected from a batch of prints. The one you receive may have slight variations to the surface, but all plates were printed from the same model with the same quality settings!
