Roland U-220 v1.02 EPROM Firmware Upgrade KIT

• This upgrade version 1.02 is the latest firmware update issued by Roland for the U-220.
• Included will be 1 upgrade chip to complete the upgrade.
• All EPROM upgrade chips supplied here are brand new, recently manufactured to ensure data integrity well past our natural lifetime.

Please keep in mind that the U-220 itself is not for sale, only the EPROM upgrade chip will be supplied.

• Before purchasing, check which firmware your U-220 is running: First press JUMP and VALUE UP together, this drops you in to ROM PLAY MODE. Second, press ENTER, MARK and JUMP together. You will then be prompted with the firmware version number.
• Upgrade version 1.02 firmware upgrade is said to contain several bug fixes, improved stability in some cases and finalized system code optimizations.

If requested - A link will be e-mailed to you with the U-220 service manual for your own personal reference. I find this to be quite useful and informative.

Be sure to take note of the marked orientation notch on the side of the EPROM to ensure correct installation. EPROMS inserted backwards will be destroyed. Incorrect insertion of ICs is also likely to cause damage to the board.

All EPROM upgrades have been prepared in an ESD-safe production environment and will be packaged in equally ESD-safe materials.
