The plaque is impressed "324", which references the size of the plaque and the fact that it was manufactured by Hutschenreuther. The plaque is then marked in black with the overglaze mark of the Ens & Greiner, Lauscha, Thuringian Forest art studio, which dates it to the 1885-1897 time period. Style and quality are typical of German porcelain plaques of the late 19th century. It is unsigned. The dealer sticker on the back indicating the plaque was made in France is obviously erroneous.    

I personally guarantee this plaque to be 100% authentic, over 100 years old, and completely hand painted (not a transfer)! I guarantee this not to be one of the many fake plaques being manufactured/sold, primarily from the Santa Clara region of California, that have inundated eBay. I do not ever sell photographic image transfer plaques and try to pass them off as genuine plaques. All plaques are from my own personal collection and have been in my possession for over 15 years.

CONDITION:

This wonderfully decorated portrait plaque is in EXCELLENT condition with a beautiful original glaze.   There are NO chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. However, there is one noticeable glaze flake and a number of very small glaze flakes along the right edge of the plaque (see photos) caused by the removal of the plaque from its original frame.  Any other white spots or lines in the photographs are from the flash and are not damage.
