APOLOGETICS CONFERENCE 2015
2 Disk DVD Set
Learn how to defend you faith in Jesus when you are questioned.
What's it About
We live in a culture that regards faith as
personal and unintelligent, distinguishing it from fact and banning it
from the public sector.
This conference will aim to equip Christians to
answer the questions:
- Is it reasonable to believe in God?
- Is the Bible a
legitimate source to know God and His involvement with mankind?
- Did
Jesus really rise from the dead?
- Is Christianity Truth or merely a
personal set of convictions?
- If Christianity is True then what does that
mean for the way I live my life?
The Speakers
Kristen Davis
In 2006, Kristen went to Israel to explore the world of the Bible. In
2009, she went to India to study Middle Eastern religions first hand and
in 2010, she went to Jerusalem, Israel for an archeological dig with
Dr. Randall Price at the Temple Mount Sifting Project and the Western
Wall Plaza Excavation. Kristen has a Bachelors of Science in Religion
(Summa Cum Laude) from Liberty University and a Masters of Arts in
Christian Apologetics (Highest Honors) from Biola University. She
teaches classes at various churches around Jacksonville, including
Mandarin Presbyterian, Chets Creek and her home church The Church of
Eleven22. She did her Master's thesis with Biola University on the
religious artifacts of Tel Dan (Tel el-Qadi) during the Late Bronze and
Early Iron ages, to see how the religious archaeological remains relate
to the Biblical conquest account. She is an Associate of Associates for
Biblical Research and the Founder of DoubtLess Faith Ministries.
Catalina Kreider
After attending the annual Evangelical Philosophical Society conference
in November 2010, Catalina Kreider was hooked! Never before had she
experienced such relief that her faith in Christ no longer had to be
compartmentalized from her rationality. From that conference on, her
study of apologetics opened the doors for her to boldly – rather than
blindly – hold to her Christian faith. As a graduate of Biola
University’s M.A. of Christian Apologetics, Catalina seeks mentoring and
teaching opportunities to encourage others to confidently understand
the truth of Christianity.
Kyle Clark
Kyle Clark has a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics (highest
honors) from Biola University. He is the founder of Epic Faith, a
ministry educating both believers and non-believers about the truths of
the Christian worldview, and is the founder and chapter director of the
Ratio Christi student organization at the University of North Florida.
He has authored a book titled The Text of the New Testament: The Science
and Art of Textual Criticism, and co-authored a book titled Basics of
Biblical Criticism: Helpful or Harmful? He currently teaches small
groups at the First United Methodist Church of Macclenny (Florida),
Ratio Christi University of North Florida, and is a writer for Bible
Translation Magazine.
