High Quality Generic Replacement Stylus 

0.3 x 0.7 mil Biradial Elliptical Upgrade Stylus for many cartridges of different brands.

The cartridge was made by Audio-Technica and private labeled to many, many different manufacturers with even more model numbers. 

Generally, the cartridge had a 0.6 mil conical stylus that sounded good, but it was available with this upgrade as a 0.7 x 0.3 mil biradial elliptical stylus. While there is no perfect stylus, but biradial ellipticals have more contact with the grove of the record. The more narrow the ellipse, the more contact with the grove. 

This is important, because the more of the surface area touches the grove, the more detail in the sound. 

This stylus is a notch above the standard elliptical.

    Hitachi no longer makes this stylus. What I have are high quality (HQ) generic styluses for these Hitachis and they meet or exceed Hitachi's original specifications. They are are new, never played, even better, they have not even placed in a cartridge.
