We stock 30 different diameters of aluminium round bar from 3/16” (4.76mm) – 8” (203.2mm). All of the aluminium round bar is supplied in grade 6082T6 apart from the 3/16” dia which is in grade 6063AT6. We also stock a range of metric sizes in 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm & 40mm diameter.
Grade 6082T6 is a good medium strength general engineering grade of aluminium. It can be machined, has very good corrosion resistance, can be welded and is good for drilling, turning & tapping.
Grade 6063AT6 is a medium strength alloy which has properties which make it suitable for bending, forming and anodising. Aluminium round bars are commonly used to manufacture machined components, automotive parts, rollers, dies, trims & edging and fishing equipment
Delivery Info.
Deliveries to IOM, IOW, NI, Scottish Highlands and SOME postcodes that begin HS, IV, KW, ZE, AB, FK, KA, PA & PH may attract a delivery surcharge and therefore may not be eligible for free delivery. If you live in one of these areas, you are advised to contact us prior to purchasing so that we can advise if a surcharge is applicable.
Cutting Service
We are happy to provide the 1st 2 cuts free of charge. Any further cuts are charged at 50p each.
