ITEM DESCRIPTION
Item Description
Up for your consideration is a very fine pair authentic Sevres (France) cache pot vases, c. 1750. Both pieces are signed on the underside, and are meticulously painted with putti and floral designs. Each piece measures 4.75" tall, and 6" wide.
Overall, they are in very good condition. One piece has some roughness to the foot rim (as shown). This may have been done to level the piece during manufacture, and the underside is shown in the last photo. Otherwise, there are no chips, or restorations. There is moderate wear to the gilt (gold) finish, primarily to the interior of one vase.
