This and similar cards listed, were all sent from the Netherlands to: "Walter L. Ewen" or, as he preferred to be called, "Uncle Walt".

 

He was a prolific Inventor and was the man who invented the Ice-Cream Cone carrier, still in use today.

 

He also advertised in the "Stamp Collectors Bulletin", a USA based Monthly Magazine, from the 1920`s to the 1950`s and was a collector of European Stamps. 

He lived to the ripe old age of 81.

As far as we know, these are the only Netherlands cards available from the vast Estate he left after he passed away
