Up for auction is a Johnny Lightning 1979 International Scout diecast model in 1:64 scale. This is one of only 2500 of the very rare and hard to find Convertible Limited Edition first sold in 2008. This item is in mint condition in the original package.

The Scout was manufactured from 1961 to 1980 as a two-door with either a half cab pickup truck or with a removable full hard or soft top. The 1979 model came with quite an array of power choices, ranging from a 196 cid four all the way up to a 345 V-8. This convertible model is clad in bright yellow to emphasize its young, free spirit.

This convertible model is a must for the Scout fan. It would make a great gift for that "hard to buy for" collector.
