Unusual little book of instructions for “The Motorcycle: Fine Construction and Fine Treatment” by C. Walther Vogelsang, Ingenieur (Engineer) in German. Lots of interesting early ads for bikes and parts as well as early transportation information. Articles by Vogelsang on maintenance and parts with illustrations and explanations. The name “C.S. Fliedner” is written in blue on the front and inside on the first ad. C.S. Fliedner was an American civilian engineer; at the time this was published (1919), he was an ensign in the navy working in the Navy Garage. He continued his career working on aircraft as a civilian operator. There is a stamp at the front from “William S. Jackson” and a few pages later, a stamp from “Roll N Wheel Incorporated”.  In very good Condition, this is an unusual and interesting look at early transportation engineering. Part of a series by ”Volckmann's Kraftfahrer Bibliothek”.
