ITEM DESCRIPTION
Up for your consideration is a fine hand-painted 19th C. porcelain plaque of a young boy, in an ornate gilt frame. The plaque measures 3.75" x 2.75", and is mounted in a gilt bronze oval frame. The piece was likely painted in the middle of the 19th C. It is housed in an ornate frame that was made later, likely between 1900 - 1920. The frame has old screws, and appears to be made of a composite material.
Both the frame and the plaque are in excellent condition, essentially free of flaws or condition concerns.
