This classic mid-century modern design was created by the famous designer Don Wallance in 1970. All pieces were made with high quality stainless steel. Most pieces are made of 18-8 stainless steel, which holds up very well with age. The knife blades were made with a slightly different composition of stainless steel, therefore, it is common for knife blades from this era to have some tiny black spots. The markings on the knives are so light that they are almost invisible in some cases. Each piece is hand-finished and shows very minor variations. There is also some variation in the manufacturer markings on some pieces. If you are trying to match a specific marking, I will do my best to accommodate. These pieces will look great on your table or in your collection.
