This is for a used 500 gb 5400 RPM hard drive. All my used hard drives were taken from working machines that were upgraded to a solid state hard drive.  I full wipe the drive putting 0s on every sector. Once this passes, i run a full smart diagnostic test. The drive is in perfect working order.
