Metroid: Samus Returns (Nintendo 3DS, 2017)

Metroid: Samus Returns features the same side-scrolling action as the original 1991 Game Boy title updated for the Nintendo 3DS. Players operate as Samus Aran, exterminating all remnants of the parasitic Metroid civilization. Your commanding officers are sending you to the center of their home planet SR388. The mission is dangerous, but a few new controls and a physical counterattack button make it easier. Players can unlock a special ending that features the history of SR388's original inhabitants.
