Jorge R. Camacho Lazo (Havana, January 5, 1934 - Paris, March 30, 2011) was a Cuban painter.

Interested in surrealism, he settled in the 1950s in Paris, a residence that he no longer abandoned except for his prolonged stays in the Spanish cities of Seville and Almonte (in this case for his visits to the national and natural park of Doñana, where he highlighted in their ornithological knowledge). Influenced by the surrealist painters of the moment, after his relationship with Paris he received support for his work by André Breton and developed an extensive work distributed by museums around the world: Paris, Caracas, Amsterdam, Brussels, the Valencian Institute of Modern Art and the Guggenheim of New York. The last exhibition of his work took place at the Water Museum in Lisbon in 2010.

Interesado por el surrealismo, se estableció en la década de 1950 en París, residencia que ya no abandonó salvo por sus estancias prolongadas en las ciudades españolas de Sevilla y Almonte (en este caso por sus visitas al parque nacional y natural de Doñana, donde destacó en sus conocimientos ornitológicos). Influenciado por los pintores surrealistas del momento, tras su vinculación con París recibió el apoyo a su obra de André Breton y desarrolló una extensa obra repartida por museos de todo el mundo: París, Caracas, Ámsterdam, Bruselas, el Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno y el Guggenheim de Nueva York. La última exposición de su obra tuvo lugar en el Museo del Agua en Lisboa en 2010.
