S Scale Roadway RAMPS (MRGS8100R) for AF (Lionel) FasTrak straight Railroad grade crossing, sectional track (crossing (MRGS8100) available separately)

Laser Cut/Engraved Wood Plank and roadway ramp set (MRGS-8100R) for Railroad Grade Crossing kit (MRGS-8100) this is the ramps only, crossing is a separate kit (MRGS-8100) see other auction.  Straight. Cut planks, engraved nail/bolt detail, revised bolt (nail) detail to aline with ties.  Specifically designed for LIONEL(R) S American Flyer Fastrak. However, should fit any similar "S" Gauge (1:64 or 3/16 scale) 2 rail track straight section with 0.148" rail height. 5" long or 26+ scale ft. Wide enough for two traffic lanes. Shims included to raise center to track bolt level and position top boards below rails so not to obstruct power pickup (wheel contact).   Please look at all the photos to see how crossing ramps install with crossing.  Light color sections to right and left of ramp in photo are scenic additions as part of diorama and NOT included.  Crossing and ramps are supplied in NATURAL wood and not painted or stained.  Stained and painted parts in photos are for explanation and to show how crossing/ramps can be finished when installed.

NOTICE TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS!!                       All our crossings including shims are manufactured of premium, first quality, Basswood,  Poplar or Birch plywood or sheet wood stock. These parts are precision cut on a Laser to match the tie spacing and track gauge specified.  If you do not understand some part of our instructions or have questions on installation, appearance, installation or final finishing (staining or painting) please contact us for assistance.  We ONLY will accept a return request if something has been misrepresented and the product is in the original packaging (re-saleable).  Once you have OPENED the packaged and used the product (attempted to install or modified the product) we cannot accept a return. If you have a problem we will make every effort to assist you in solving it, but you must tell us so we can.

Stain or color to your choice or leave natural when installed. See photos of installations.  Covers ties and provides an edge to stop scenery, road surface without fouling track. Installs easily with any type of glue, following instruction on header card. You must add ramps (see our NEW product listing for these) or other scenic road way to each side of the crossing. 

These crossings and ramps may be used in any S Scale application, the crossing is laser cut to clear wheel flanges and may be use with any rail from .090 to .148+ in height. Shim provided (0.040) will provide a total crossing height of 0.130+ and clear any rolling stock operated on 0.148 rail. Use the crossing itself with any thickness shim for other rail height from 0.090 up.  Ramps will fit against outside of rails to provide finished continuation of roadway surface.

Material provided makes two grade crossing ramps one each side (single or more tracks) with 2 roadway (auto) lanes. Unfortunately the cost of everything is increasing, our wood, shipping, even the electricity to keep the lights on and run the laser, all are increasing, so we must increase our prices accordingly.
