Standard mouthpieces have a gradual, sloping shape. Jazz type mouthpieces have a kind of "lift", or raised type of shape. This makes the air flow faster, which makes the sound louder, brighter, and have more edge.

Good Jazz mouthpieces usually cost over $100.00!

Now you can make ANY MOUTHPIECE a JAZZ MOUTHPIECE by simply adding one of these specially designed adhesive inserts. You can leave it in permanently, or remove it when you want to return to standard.
