6 page photo illustrated article from a rare Victorian periodical - the article is entitled "Lonely Voyagers" by Frederick A Talbot Very interesting article discussing several rowing water crossing attempts Includes several photo illustrations including Eton rowing boat sinking in attempt to cross English Channel The Little "Fairy" in which Carl Jensen attempted to cross North Sea H Blackburn of Massachusetts who crossed the Atlantic The "Great Western" only 30 feet in length The two Norwegians who crossed the Atlantic in the small open boat "Fox" Internal fittings of the "Fox" The "Spray" Two voyagers who rowed from Isle of Wight to Cherbourg Captain Slocum who sailed round the world by himself in the "Spray" Open Boat "Homeward Bound" sailed from Port Natal to Dover Captain Drevar in his "uncapsizable" boat Please note this listing is for genuine actual pages extracted from a Victorian periodical, there are no covers and article may include part of non related articles at start or end. Whilst the images show the article in its still bound state, the article will be sent as loose pages.
