VERY RARE SPECIAL BRONZE BELL  BREV N 664 

MADE IN ITALY

 

·         Base of the bell strong aluminum with written in relief on upper part not completely legible ”Brev N 664….Made in Italy”

·         Bronze cover cylindrical shape thickness mm 2 and diameter mm 65

·         The cover should be fixed with a robust screw through the cover to the internal mechanism of the bell

·         Broken lever of mechamism, I add in auction lever

·         The broken lever is in steel- maybe you can solder tin so as not to dismantle any part or bolt but the insertion of the final part of the operating lever is easy task to be performed

·         This lever that operates through the brass gear the tilting rocker delivers sound. It tends to rise so that does not work well, but this defect is easily eliminable or by inserting a thin thickness or better by bending downward the lever

·         I cleaned thoroughly from grease and dirt the mechanism to clearly see the bell mechanism and the operations to be carried out for review

Campanello antico con base in robusto alluminio

 

·        Coperchio in bronzo al naturale di forma cilindrica dello spessore di mm 2

·        Diametro mm 56 molto robusto.

·         Al centro nella parte superiore del coperchio è stato effettuato un foro per l’inserimento di una vite per il fissaggio del coperchio al corpo del campanello

·         La leva di azionamento del suono è in acciaio, rotta nella parte esterna, Aggiungo in asta altra leva   simile che può essere saldata anche a stagno senza dover smontare nulla

 

·         La leva di azionamento tende a sollevarsi all’interno così che non lavora in piano e non aziona bene il bilanciere che produce il suono, ma è facilmente eliminabile il difetto o piegando un po’ questa leva in basso o inserendo un sottilissimo spessore  sul perno snodo della leva stessa, comunque è un difetto facilmente eliminabile, non è un meccanismo di alta precisione

·        Tuttavia il campanello in asta è un pezzo molto raro se non unico credo, all’apparenza sembra za realizzato in forma artigianale anche se riporta la scritta sulla parte bassa della base ”Brev N 664 Made in Italy” come se fosse un prodotto industriale
