Natural Rubber Soothers Orthodontic Soother is made using 100% pure natural rubber, moulded into one single piece for optimum hygiene with no joints, cracks, or any hidden places for dirt and bacteria build up. The shield used on this soother is larger than your average soother shield, designed to actually touch a baby’s nose to more closely simulate breastfeeding. The larger shield also helps to prevent babies from sucking the soother into their mouths, and given the high level of elasticity of pure natural rubber, you can rest assured it won't leave any marks on your baby.

What Shape Soother Should You Choose?

Natural Rubber Soothers assist in satisfying your baby’s need for self-soothing while ensuring the prevention of the possible negative effects on teeth and the formation of palates associated with 'thumb sucking'.

• Round Shape: This shape works better for babies that are breastfed. This is because hen your baby is breastfeeding, the tongue is positioned under the nipple, so using a round shape soother will help prevent nipple confusion. Given that a baby's tongue position never really changes, midwives often recommend starting your baby on a round shaped soother.
   
• Orthodontic Shape: With the orthodontic shape the tip of the nipple is slanted to encourage tongue movement against it - as opposed to under it. This shape is ideal for babies who are already accustomed to the orthodontic shape. 

How to Care & Maintain your Natural Rubber Soother

Before first time use, boil your natural rubber soother in water for 2 minutes then allow to cool. Keep in mind the colour of the soother will change slightly during use. It is best that you clean the soother on a daily basis. Replace the soother every 8-12 weeks, depending on how frequently it's used, with the size appropriate for the baby's age.

All Natural Rubber Soothers meet the Australian Safety Standard for soothers, code number AS2432-1991/2008 and are made to conform with the Pacifier Safety requirements by European standard EN1400. Natural Rubber Soothers are also tested by the internationally renowned company SGS for both compliance and also for traces of nitrosamines (proteins that can cause an allergic reaction to latex). Nitromsamines are eliminated during the production of all Natural Rubber Soothers, making them one of the safest soothers on the market today.

At Healthy Being, no matter where you live, no matter how much your products weigh, we will NEVER charge for shipping to any address in Australia - that's a cost we're happy to absorb! For all international orders, shipping is automatically calculated depending on destination.

Packaging & Dispatching

We always work towards dispatching orders within 2 business days. 

There is a downside to offering thousands of products at the cheapest prices in Australia, with certain discounted and popular items, it sometimes takes a few extra days to restock. We have stock coming in every day from various suppliers and distributors - stock that is often sent out on the very same day! Given the fact that some suppliers are interstate, it might take us a little longer to dispatch orders. In such cases, we ask for your patience as dispatch time may be extended to 4 business days.

We understand though that some orders are urgent, and for various reasons, customers need their goods before a specific date (e.g. birthdays, travel plans). If your order is time sensitive, please let us know when you place your order by contacting us directly!

Shipping Carrier

We rely on and trust the good people at Australia Post to safely and promptly deliver your goods. At this stage, we do not offer an Express Post option (please contact us for urgent deliveries). 

Please note the following:

• Unless 'authority to leave' is given at the time of order, a signature is required on delivery.

• If the parcel requires signature on delivery, and there is no one to sign for the parcel at your delivery address, your parcel will be transferred to your local post office. A card will be left by the courier and you will receive notification via email from AusPost when your order is ready to be picked up (If you've provided a mobile number at the time of your order, you'll also receive an SMS) 

• If you do not pick up your parcel from your local post office within 10 working days of receiving an SMS/email, it will be returned to our warehouse. Healthy Being Online Pty Ltd reserve the right to charge an additional $9.95 to redeliver your parcel. We DO NOT offer refunds for any order if you opt not to pay the additional fee to have your parcel redelivered. 

• It is YOUR responsibility to provide a correct postal address. If you provide an incorrect postal address, or if you misspell or omit details of your address, Australia Post will return your order to our warehouse. Healthy Being Online Pty Ltd reserve the right to charge an additional $9.95 to redeliver your parcel to a correct address. We DO NOT offer refunds for any order if you opt not to pay the additional fee and have your parcel redelivered.

Authority to Leave Terms & Conditions

By opting for "Authority to Leave" Healthy Being will instruct the associated courier service to leave your parcel at your unattended premises in accordance with your instructions.

You agree that the parcel is deemed received when left at your premises and Healthy Being Online Pty Ltd (and Australia Post) do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which may result after. You agree to release Healthy Being Online Pty Ltd against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including consequential losses, suffered or incurred by you or any other person as a result of this Authority to Leave.
 

 This shipping policy is subject to change at any time.

At Healthy Being, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality products, and at all times we aim to ensure 100% customer satisfaction! So, if you receive any product which is damaged, or does not match the description of what you ordered, we’ll definitely agree to replace or refund.

We do however ask that you email us within 24 hours of receiving your goods and provide us with photo evidence so we can verify your claim. Once we’ve verified your claim we’ll either send out a replacement product or issue a complete refund of the purchase price.

Unfortunately, at Healthy Being we do not consider a change of mind (opinion) or incorrectly ordered goods as justification for either a replacement or refund. As a customer, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure that all goods purchased are intended and correct. As such we ask all our customers to please check and verify items before finalising any purchase.
