A large evergreen tree endemic to Australia with blue-green, lance-shaped leaves and multicoloured peeling bark, ranging from bright-white to grey and brown.  White and yellow flowers are produced during summer

The brilliant red colour of the inner-wood of Eucalyptus camaldulensis has made it a unique material in recent times for craft furniture

Hardy to -5°C (23°F)

Prefers moist conditions — but can tolerate any soil types, providing it has some direct sunlight

It is one of the few Eucalyptus species that can truly make an outstanding bonsai specimen
