24" X 24" Drop-In Tray with Spark Ignition Kit - Natural Gas
If you have decided on a square fire pit, these gas kits with a spark ignition system are all you need to build a professional looking outdoor fire pit or table. The drop-in style burner is simplicity itself to install. Manufactured by American Fireglass, you can be confident that these Fire Pit Kits are built specifically for outdoor use and come complete with the manufacturers 5 year guarantee.
An opening of about 1" bigger than the quoted tray size will allow the pan to drop in to your fire pit structure or fire table and sit securely on the generous 1.25" lip. The tray size relates to the dimensions of the base and excludes the 1¼" support rim. The pans are 2" deep.
The gas holes in the ring are drilled, not punched, which ensures a smoother flow of gas and produces a better flame. There are also weep holes in the bottom of the tray to allow proper drainage of water.

The Spark Ignition Kit
The Spark Ignition System is a push button system that creates a spark at the tip of the Ignition Probe to ignite the gas. It is powered by battery, so there is no mains electrical supply required on your fire pit. The battery is located in the push button, so it it easy to replace. This is the modern, civilized way to light your gas fire pit. The system is easily installed and comes with complete installation instructions.
Other Options
There are 5 tray sizes in this range: 12", 18", 24", 30" and 36" inches in diameter. The size of the burners that are supplied with the trays vary depending on the tray size. Please note that the 30" and 36" are both supplied with an 18" burner, only the high capacity version of these kits come with the larger 24" diameter burner and are available for Natural Gas only. As with all gas fire pits and particularily those of high capacity, please ensure that you have sufficient gas pressure to cope with the BTU's of the burner.
