Original 1897 Map of Massachusetts An original finely detailed Color Lithograph that includes the Principal Cities, Towns, Counties, Railroads, Ports and Elevation. It is an authentic antique map approximately 118 years old with printed color. The map has a copyright date of 1897 in the title area and was designed by Matthew-Northrup, Buffalo, NY, which is also stated on the map. It is from a 1897 edition of the Century Atlas of the World (New York: The Century Co.). A copy of the title page is included. Size: The map image measures approximately 10 3/8 " by 14 3/4 " on a 13" by 17" page with a margin all around as seen. The map is in Very Good condition for its age, no creases/tears, with very very light overall tonal aging as expected, blank on the reverse with a centerfold as issued, see the pics for more on condition.
