This is the original (1sh) movie poster THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN.  It was used to promote the film in theatres when it was released by United Artists in 1960.   It is not a reprint nor a reproduction.  The movie stars Yul Brynner, Eli Wallach, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Robert Vaughn, Brad Dexter, James Coburn, Horst Buchholz, Vladimir Sokoloff, Whit Bissell, and Robert Wilke.  It was directed by John Sturges.

This poster has been restored and is linen backed.  It is Rolled, and measures 27" x 41.   With linen, the poster measures 28.25" x 42.25".   Prior to restoration and linen backing, the poster had been Folded.  Almost all original movie posters pre 1985 are Folded.  This is not considered a flaw or defect.

This restored movie poster is graded C8.5, or Very Fine to Near Mint.   Original movie posters are graded, from the top down, as C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Very Good to Very Fine), C6 (Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), etc.  It is difficult to find any C10 (Mint) original movie posers pre 1985.  Prior to restoration this poster was graded a C6.5 Fine Plus.  The restoration corrected slight paper loss, tiny holes, light creasing, minor stains and tears, faint smudges, and fold separations.  The poster now appears without issue and basically is except for the few, minor flaws described above - which are not noticeable even at a short viewing distance.  It is now a very clean, sharp original movie poster.
