Simple, Industrial Cast Iron and Wood, Pedestal Table from Printing Industry - Vintage

Gorgeous old table with working cast iron base. Honest and original finish. I have been told this was used in the printing business back in the early 19OO's.  But it looks so contemporary -- you know how they say "Everything old is new again" That saying is definitely true for this table.

It resembles a drawing table but it does not tilt. That is not how it was used. I do not know exactly what it was used for in the printing field. If any of you Ebayer's out there know if there is a name for this kind of pedestal table, or what it was used for, it would be fun to have some more information.

All I know is that it is just a beautiful piece with gorgeous lines and a really interesting wooden table top that has lots of character and for those of you who appreciate that look, as much as I do, it is definitely a treasure.

I would say this could be at home in a Mansion, home office or a high end studio loft as a work-space/bedroom table, -- and would look simply amazing!
