Offered here is brand new vintage Army black Beret - it is NOS (New Old Stock). This is a genuine Army issue beret from 1952 that was made in Canada. Canada supplied the USA with berets during the Vietnam conflict.

Its a rare larger Size 7-1/2

This US sizing. If you use a different head sizing system than the US / Canadian sizing please use an online hat size converter for an accurate translation into your sizing type.

Each beret comes with a clear and legible manufacture stamp inside , just like the sample shown in the pictures. It features a leather trim, tie strings, and ventilation gussets on the side. If you have ever worn one of these you will know that they collect lint easily - so there will be minor dust and lint from my warehouse. Exterior material will be 100% wool, internal lining will be 50% cotton and 50% polyester. No moth holes, no staining, no damage of any sort, no bad smell, it is almost as perfect as the day it was made. Pictures are of a typical sample from this lot. There is more than one available that will be almost exactly the same as this one (differences being lint only).
