1:1 ATU Current Balun, 1-100MHz, 1kW

This is a balun (balanced to unbalanced ) transmission line transformer designed to transform open wire and balanced twin lead, ladder line to unbalanced coaxial feedline and remote auto tuner with multiband antenna.

Application:

. Transform balanced to unbalanced signal.

. Choking impedance.

. Suppress common mode current.

. Doublets, loops, multiband wire.

. Remote auto tuner ( assist and helps the tuner to tune ).

In this application any small impedance transformation caused by the Current Balun is immaterial because the tuner will compensate and manage SWR.
