About Dandelion Roots (Taraxacum officinalis):

Although most people think of dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) as a pesky weed, the plant has long been used in herbal medicine to aid in digestion and help stimulate appetite.                                             Hot Tea/Infusion Recipe 2: 
                                            1 tablespoon of chopped root mixed with 150 milliliters of hot water for 20 minutes, strain. 1 - 3 cups of tea per day.
