Senior sergeant - military rank in the Armed Forces of Russia (Russian Armed Forces) and a number of armed forces of other states of the world (has its own names in other languages, for example, Samal Rishon, ElkӨn sergeant).
In the Russian Armed Forces, the value is higher than the sergeant and lower than foreman. In the Russian imperial army, sergeant roughly corresponded to sergeant major, scorer, and wah master.
