This was the fifth title to be published in the Collins' series The New Natualist: A Survey of British Natural History. It is illustrated with 45 colour photographs and 27 in black and white plus three line drawings. With two appendices and an index.

Condition: This secondhand book is in very good condition - the dust jacket is very tatty with a section missing, visible in picture one. The are two inscriptions on the front endpaper. Please refer to the pictures.
