This is volume two only of a two-volume set and contains 24 of the engravings referred to in the title. The Rev Isaac Taylor has taken 24 passages of Christian scripture, written a poem and engraved a picture expanding on the teaching of the Biblical text - Taylor was and established artist, engraver and writer of children's books. The engravings are of an excellent, crisp quality. 

Condition: This secondhand book is in very good condition with light wear and ageing. There is significant wear to the cover boards and spine - the spine covering is complete but has a 3cm split on one side. Small name on the front endpaper. Please refer to the pictures above.

SIZE (all approx): Quite small 17½x13½cm, 100 pages, 130g before packing.
