 This auction is for Australian burl wood. Originating from Australia, this material is ultra figured, with lots of eyes, swirls and minimum trunk wood.Do to there grain structure, burls can have naturally occurring bark pockets, inclusions, checks, splits and possibly punky wood. So please look carefully at the pieces listed.The lumber has been air dried, and should be ready to use. As with everything I sell, your satisfaction is guaranteed!

This piece is: 1 1/2" x 5 7/8" x 3/8" - 13/32"(each piece in the bookmatched set)
Well air dried(almost 2 years)
Pieces misted with alcohol to show color
Backs may require a touch of flattening
There may be lots of tiny voids(very typical in eucalyptus burl) that can be seen in pics. These voids are easily filled with a CA glue "slurry" to hide them. Or they can be filled with a contrasting color to highlight them.
There may or may not be minor defects like the ones mentioned above, all very common in burl.
