For sale is a Plant Tuscan milk or cream jug in a lovely Art Deco pattern, pink, purple and blue coloured flowers alongside red raspberries are stunning on a bright white background. Dark blue piping trims the edge of the the rim of the jug as well as on the decorative handle and bottom. The jug measures 5"/13 cm across and 3.5"/9 cm in height.
The condition is excellent for its age, from 1932, the date of the registration number, 771580, found on the bottom of the jug: no cracks, chips or crazing and the glaze is fresh and bright. However, there are a few tiny imperfections to the glaze inside the jug but they are to be expected due to the factory conditions of the time.
