This beautiful Parisian street scene is an original oil painting by French artist Jacques Marchand.
With beautiful frame the dimensions are 32" x 44". Signed on the bottom right by artist Jacques Marchand. The frame and the image have been well preserved and is in good vintage condition with no damage.

Marchand was a prominent Artist and is well recognized for his classic antique street scene paintings, often showing Parisian scenes. He was born in 1932 in the south of France and was largely a self-taught artist. His only training was in visiting museums throughout Europe where he picked up much inspiration from the great masters. He was especially influenced by The French Impressionists, and his city-scenes reflect the vitality that their work shows. His work has been shown in the major art centers of Europe and the US, and his work is also in many private collections.
