The photograph displayed is the USS Hornet wood model and not the USS Boxer as we have not photographed the CV-21 yet.
Our laser cut wood model will feature the profile and flight deck of the USS Box same as the Hornet as depicted in the photograph. We can produce a wood model of any Essex class carrier in its straight deck WWII configuration, and or angled deck configuration as pictured. Please send us an e-mail request for the ship configuration you would like.
We can also add a personalized nameplate listing the name, rank, and service dates aboard the ship. Please include the exact wording desired on the personalized nameplate in the comments section of your on line order. You can also send the personalized text in an e-mail directly to us. You may also order both the straight deck and the angled deck, if appropriate, versions in one frame for an extra 50 dollars.
The overall inside dimensions of the custom frame is 9" x 20".
Every Essex class carrier varies in its exact configuration and we make a special effort to depict the ship as she actually was configured for the service dates requested. We do all individualization on an as requested basis which may require some additional lead time for production.
