Originally acquired in 1983, the Teac-Tascam CM-6s were my studio monitors beginning with the Tascam 144 Portastudio, the 246 Portastudio, the 388 R-R Studio, the 688 MIDI Studio and finally, the DM24 digital mixing console. Got some awesome sounding mixes out of those monitors!

Sometime around my DM24 days I had to replace the foam surrounds on these woofers, they were completely deteriorated. I recall getting the foam surrounds directly from the main Teac parts counter in Montebello, CA, just a 30 min. drive up the 5 freeway from me. In my transition to the DM4800 digital mixing console, I replaced my Teac CM-6s with a pair of Yamaha NS-10s and put them into storage. Along the way the cabinets were gutted, but I held onto these woofers for some strange reason. Now they can be yours!
