“PEOPLE in Show Business
Make Long Good Goodbyes” is a mildewed tale about two innocent, eager
young dancers who desperately want to break into show business. H. Jean
Schaeffer's play, which opened last night at the Orpheum Theater, makes
us look back with fondness at those Judy Garland vehicles such as
“Summer Stock.”
