standing on top of a cliff leaning its weight into a rock with a large
branch in front of it. As the bear stands on its hind legs, it reaches
the the height of the nearby branch showing the grandeur of the bear, a
fact which is further reinforced by the fact that the bear holds his
mouth open in a large growl. To this day, bears play a prominent role in
the arts, mythology, and other cultural aspects of various human
societies. The bear was thought to possess diplomacy equal to its great
strength and it is the emblem of ferocity in the protection of kindred. A
bear is also a symbol of healing and personal health, strength and
bravery. Bears? paws are also often found as crests or symbols on
shields. It has been crafted with authentic detail by the artisan, Mario Nick, and bears his signature in the base.
