The L1A1 SLR was the standard rifle of the Australian Army from 1959 to 1990 The L1A1 is a local adoption of the British L1A1 SLR (a development of the Belgian FN FAL). It is a reliable weapon which has proved itself in all environmental conditions and is regarded as one of the most successful battle rifles ever produced.

Details: Created in decorative detail, for your enjoyment and memory, this military gun is nicely hand set back into the Display Shadow Box (as shown) with information about the rifle then sealed at rear for protection. These guns are made from metal in Australia and not China. This display is handcrafted by a former Defence Force Member.
