Exceptionally well carved and gilded George I style mirror.

The glass has been replaced sometime in the early 20th century I'd guess.

All hand carved and exquisitely detailed.

Stylized fleur-de-lis motif with scroll and scallop shell cresting.

Another scallop shell with cross hatched gesso work at the base.

Punched surface.

Many tiny details in the carving.
