NOTE: Very Important! The SG body is traditionally very thin. You must measure the interior depth of your SG control compartment to see if these pots will fit. The Bourns push/pull pots need 1-1/8 inch clearance to fit, or 1-1/16 inch if the star washer is removed.  The only other option is to have the floor of the control cavity routed down slightly at a professional guitar repair shop.

With the success of my Les Paul Jimmy Page system, I now offer my new wiring harness Jimmy Page upgrade for Gibson SG!

This system includes everything you need to transform a Gibson SG into the famous "Jimmy Page" wiring. 4-conductor humbucker pickups are required. The Bourns Push/Pull pots allow you to split your humbuckers into single coil pickups, allows both pickups to be put out of phase, and can put both pickups in series as well. AND...with the 3 way switch in the bridge position, the neck tone pot will act as a kill switch when pulled up!

Included in each SGJP system:

4) Bourns 500K Push/Pull Audio Taper volume & tone pots, 3/8" Long Threaded Bushing, Split Shaft, DPDT
2) "Orange Drop" .022 mfd 100 volt Capacitors
1) Wiring diagram (see photo section)
1) Assembly template board

Note: this is a very complex wiring system and needs to be installed by a qualified guitar repair technician

WHO WE ARE:
Starr Guitar Systems (SGS) owner Dave Starr has been playing guitar and bass professionally (WildeStarr, Vicious Rumors, and CHASTAIN) for over 30 years, and doing guitar repair for over 30 years as well. Dave has put his years of experience as a pro to come up with his own line of guitar & bass electronic upgrade systems. So, when you buy from Dave, you are not just buying gear from a guitar technician... you are buying gear from a PRO MUSICIAN who has been there and done that..... recorded over 15 albums, toured the world multiple times, MTV videos, artist endorsements (currently signed with ERNIE BALL strings and EMG pickups), etc. Every SGS unit comes with all of that experience behind it... what works and what doesn't, because Dave has pretty much seen and done it all. And, every SGS unit is custom built and assembled by hand one at a time by Dave here in his Houston Texas shop.
