OUTLAST cinema gears work on ANY lens! Simply measure your focus barrel or aperture barrel to the nearest millimeter. When in doubt, order the smaller of the sizes you are considering as a gear is better too tight than too loose. For best results, measuring calipers should be used to measure barrels.

If you don't want a set of calipers, you can solve the equation for the diameter of the circle, d= C/π, by using a piece of paper or string to measure the circumference of the barrel. Measure the total distance around the outside of the barrel (known as circumference). Divide the circumference by pi or 3.14 to know your barrel diameter based on the barrel circumference. Need help - just ask!
For instance, if my circumference was 215mm, my diameter would be "d = 215mm/3.14 = 68.47mm", so my diameter would be 68.47mm - this means I should round down and get a 68mm ID gear to make sure it's snug and not loose.
Gears are 5mm tall and are measured by inside diameter of gear (inside diameter of gear = ID). To know what gear you need, you must first measure the outside diameter of your lens barrels (your lens barrel outside diameter = OD). If your lens barrel is measuring exactly 70mm or even 70.5mm, you must select a 69mm gear to ensure a snug fit. Better to have a gear that is too snug than too loose. Any issues with fit, never worry! We are here to ensure your total satisfaction.
