What does retinol do for your skin?

Retinol increases skin cell production, resurfacing and renewing your complexion. It helps unclog pores. Retinol also exfoliates your skin and increases collagen production, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving your skin a fresher, plump appearance.

Is retinol OK to use daily?

Yes, absolutely, but if you’re just starting out, you probably won’t want to because your skin likely needs time to adapt. We recommend using retinol two or three nights a week to start. If your skin seems to be tolerating it well after two weeks, try using it every other night for another week or two, eventually working your way up to daily application. Pay attention to how your skin reacts and adjust the frequency of use accordingly.

What to avoid when using retinol?

Retinol is a gentle natural exfoliator and skin resurfacer. It is not recommended to use in conjunction with AHAs or BHAs but does work well alongside a vitamin C serum, hyaluronic acid serum or moisturising face cream.
